So I finished playing a certain game that left me in tears. This is almost finished, but it's the moment when the hero is resolved to go against all odds to save his "girl." Not even sure how to tackle coloring it, yet.
Also, I got to playing around with a bunch of free 3-D software in the time between. I found that Sculptris Alpha 6 is my favorite one out of the the bunch. I worked this bust out of a default sphere. It's such a powerful 3-D sculpting tool. If I do a few more, I may end up making a separate gallery for this sort of stuff.
Whew, been a while. I've been pretty busy with my part-time job to get around to updating this blog. I also went to this year's ILLUXCON and sat in on some very helpful lectures. I just wished they had a designated day for when portfolio sign-ups. Last year they were up weeks in advance. This time it was about three days before the convention's start, so I was a little bummed. This piece, however, arose out of a short session after lunch. It's a redux of this old piece. I'll be fixing it up bit-by-bit until I get all the old elements back in, especially her tears.
I'm finding the "Color" Layer mode swift and effective.
Testing out weebly's blog-ma-log with an image. I like how she somehow has this "Twilight Princess" look to her.
I'm just some talented, artist dude... I think.
